POP UP GALLERY IN ELSTERNWICK

Susie Ashkenazi and Kim Kennedy exhibition opening 6th December 2018

I am looking forward to having a pop up gallery in Elsternwick with well-loved artist Kim Kennedy (www.kimkennedy.com.au).

We will convert the Old Carousel ice cream shop (which is on the market for sale) into a hub of contemporary art and sculpture, showcasing our recent works.

On Kim's website he has a simple philosophy towards his art which resonates with the show:

"There are no set rules in contemporary Art. Know your subject matter and capture its character in that special way, then you will have made a statement."

Expect rich and vibrant landscapes, animals and bird life as well as sculpture in bronze, ceramics and limestone that explore the body and play around with abstraction.
